About Us

A Little Bit of History

Wings of Faith Fellowship Church was founded in 1989 with a heart for family ministry. During the churches growing process more and more children began to join us for Sunday and Wednesday children’s ministry groups. Soon the leaders of WOFF saw a great need for childcare in our community. Because of this need, in the fall of 1997 “Little Wings of Faith” opened its doors as a licensed preschool and learning center.

The center began with only one classroom and eleven children. Since that time we are happy to say that we have grown not only in enrollment, but also  in our goal and vision to meet the needs of the children in our community.

Situated just inside the Silver Springs Shores area LWOF’s program for young children, serves a diverse client base of around 60 families throughout the year. As we continue to look for new ways to educate the students in our care our motto remains the same, “Love God and Love People.”

Statement of Purpose

The purpose of LWOF is to extend the ministry of Wings of Faith Fellowship. The Word of God shares with us in Luke 2:52 “And as Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men.” Keeping this scripture in mind we hope to provide care, education, and resources that will help children grow mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally and socially. This is to be accomplished by providing a developmentally appropriate childcare program and enriching preschool learning experience that will instill compassion, build strong characters and prepare children (ages 12 month -5 years) for school readiness, healthy living and sustainable livelihoods as adults in order to build a more flourishing community.
